NVR+ is a network video recorder software solution that runs on an industry standard PC, and records video
from one or more network cameras.
The NVR+ solution differentiates itself from other existing digital video recording products by using an
existing IP data network to record video from one or more network cameras, and consequently, eliminates
the need for dedicated “home run” coaxial cabling. By combining all of the following capabilities into
one solution, the NVR+ is a uniquely versatile and cost-effective product:
- IP network-centric architecture
- Web-enabled remote access
- Centralized management
- Comprehensive notification choices
Because the NVR+ utilizes IP network infrastructure, it can easily be integrated into a facility with existing
structured network wiring, or a facility taking advantage of the newer, low cost wireless IP-based technologies.
In either case, cameras can be set up anywhere on the network, with no need for dedicated coaxial "home run"
wiring, with the result that setting up a new IP-based security system has never been easier or more cost effective.
NVR+ has an easy-to-use graphical interface, accessible both locally and remotely, with no remote client viewing
software necessary for remote access. To see what the cameras are seeing or have recorded, a remote user simply
runs a Web browser on any PC, PDA, or SmartPhone with suitable connectivity and logs in with a valid User ID and
password to a secure Web account. The Web-based remote access even enables remote management of one or more NVR+
systems from a single logon account. In fact, a remotely located security manager can view live video from up to
64 cameras in one browser window. NVR+ supports multiple forms of notification including: voice call with playback
of a pre-recorded voice message, numeric pager alert, and e-mail message with attached snapshot image.
NVR+ works as a stand-alone digital video security system, or in an intranet/Internet environment when used in
conjunction with the WebEyeAlert Web server. The WebEyeAlert Web server is used to provide remote access to live
and recorded video of one or more NVR+ systems. Being a software-based digital security solution, NVR+ can be
upgraded with new technology enhancements without requiring hardware replacement.
